My least favorite chores

If you knew me back when I was in college you will think this is pretty funny.  I am a neat freak, now.

Back in the day I was living willy nilly not a care in the world.  Vaccum what the heck does that mean sort of thing.  Putting things away was not even in my thought process.  Basically I was a lazy college kid who thought going to class 16 hours a week and partying the rest of the time was hard work.  So hard that I napped away my weekends and my house looked like a war zone.

Nowadays I am a clean freak in every sense of the word.  Everything has a place.  I unpack from a weekend away the second I get home.  My bed gets made daily, and I vaccum more than should be allowed.  I have almost made being clean my hobby.  A lame hobby, but a hobby none the less.

There are a few exceptions to all of this.  I absolutely can't stand putting the laundry away.  I don't mind doing laundry or folding it, but as long as folded and in a basket I feel like I can hide it in my laundry room.

Case in point, this basket of clean clothes has been sitting in my laundry room since last Sunday.

And this pile will just grow as I do laundry today.  Maybe I should stop blogging about how much I hate putting the laundry away and just go do it.
