It took place all of 48 hours after returning home from Mexico, and by the demand of my Cousin A it was "going to happen, NOW!" If you know our family you know that A controls our doings. This is much to my chagrin...she stole my youngest child spotlight eight and a half years ago. I might still be bitter.
I made this sign for the Fiesta. Sometimes I need to let my creative side run wild and I really have nowhere else to do that.
I had to take a picture of all of the dips involved in our fiesta. Oh my word was that guacamole delicious. I made it and I have never been so satisfied in my life. (I learned a few secrets down in Mexico to make it that good!)
That would be my lovely Brother and A's little sister E. E is in LOVE with my Brother, she thinks he is just the greatest thing since sliced bread!
That is A. My little spotlight stealer. Thief.
No, but really I love her. She idolizes me. It works!
E is the comedian of our family.
She has been known to say "shut the front door" at the dinner table. Or giggle uncontrollably for no reason. She is a mess.
E also happens to be as uncoordinated as the rest of us, and hasn't gotten the hang of getting on for a piggy back ride. Were working on it.
Just for good measure my Aunt J from Virginia bought the girls a pinata and filled it with the best loot ever!
The look A is giving her Mom in this picture absolutely describes her. She is in those lovely almost pre teen years, there is a lot of eye rolling. I choose to laugh and pray for her Mother!
That's the loot. Loofahs, ring pops, necklaces, bracelets. Not the junky loot that I am used to.
Apparently stealing my thunder paid off.

Love it. Love your family. Love you. <3
